Racial Justice & Social Transformation: How funders can act report launch event

The report- "Racial Justice and Social Transformation: How Funders Can Act" by Ten Years’ Time has a follow up event and we are part of it!

The interactive event will be held virtually on Zoom, but do not worry this will be no ordinary virtual event. Expect to hear from some of the incredible and inspiring changemakers of colour who are doing the work as they and the Ten Years' Time team lead you through a series of provocations to get us reflecting on and plotting the bold, urgent and ambitious change we need to make a racial justice a reality in the immediate future.

What to expect
Expect to hear from some of the incredible and inspiring changemakers of colour who are doing the work as they and the Ten Years' Time team lead you through a series of provocations to get us reflecting on and plotting the bold, urgent and ambitious change we need to make racial justice a reality in the immediate future.

Why a racial justice lens?
Quoted by Ten Years' Time "Without applying a racial justice lens to all of these deeply important areas we believe we will not be able to achieve wholesale transformational change and instead will be committing to action, which plays within the confines of the current structurally racist system."

Our Contribution
The Black Wellbeing Collective will be guiding audiences through therapeutic check ins and check outs, led by the wonderful Dr. Rebekah Jade @weare.pana.

We have also designed self care tool kits for all audience members to take away ways to self soothe and unwind after the event.

See you there!
